One of the strangest seasons in the history of Outcasts and Cricket in general ends tomorrow!
Back in the middle of lockdown there were discussions at the club that we honestly believed there wouldnt be a signle fixture at the ground this year, fast forward to tomorrow and our 24th and 25th game of the season will be happening at Hirst Priory.
Massive thanks have to go to everyone behind the scenes to get games for everyone that wanted one at all standards the club offers. Tomorrow we also give thanks to Broughton Cricket Club, when the ECB announced adaptive cricket could restart in July the first club to call us was Broughton and since then we have managed to organise 1 1st XI game, 2 2nd XI games and 2 3rd XI games in this short 11 weeks season.
Tomorrow is a celebration of both clubs as we finish the season with a pair of T20 matches starting with the first game at 12pm and the second following immediately after. Tomorrow was going to be our End of season presentation evening but due to the restrictions put in place from last week we have decided to postpone that and instead we will be doing a Chirstmas / New Year event in the winter providing the situation is better.
Once tomorrows games are done we will be in touch with our dates for the AGM and plans for the winter. The club has a lot of ideas for 2021 and that all starts with the AGM and the chance for members to speak to the comittee.
See you all at the ground tomorrow for the final day.
